Your creations never leave your device
Last updated: September 10, 2026
MY CREATION is developed by Jean-David Giroux. This page explains simply what the app does — and just as importantly, doesn't do — with your photos, drawings, and data.
What the app accesses
To work, MY CREATION accesses, with your permission:
- The camera — to photograph or scan a drawing.
- Your photo library — to import an existing image, and to save a preview of your creations if you ask it to.
Where this processing happens
Entirely on your iPhone or iPad. Subject detection, 3D relief construction, and augmented reality all run on Apple's own frameworks (Vision, RealityKit, ARKit), executed locally. MY CREATION does not talk to any server: the app contains no networking code, no usage analytics, and no third-party services. Your drawings, photos, and 3D creations are never transmitted anywhere by the app itself.
What stays on your device
Every creation (original photo, render, USDZ 3D file) is stored in the app's own storage, under "My Library." Nothing is synced to an account, a cloud, or an external server by MY CREATION. Deleting the app deletes those files with it.
Sharing
The only sharing that happens is what you explicitly trigger — for example via AirDrop or iOS's standard share sheet, to send a 3D file to another device. MY CREATION never sends anything automatically.
Included master paintings
The built-in master painting library uses reproductions of public-domain works. No personal data is attached to them.
Children
MY CREATION collects no personal data, regardless of the age of the person using it, since it simply collects no data at all.
